Whipping Potatoes 400×300

Volunteer

We couldn’t do this without our volunteers. It’s a heartwarming way to give back to your community. It can be hard work but it’s a lot of fun! Click here to review the many opportunities to help at Christmas.

There are many ways to help throughout the year as well. Preparation for this huge event actually starts soon after the first of the year with a handful of volunteers. Check out our Calendar & Events page for additional events.

If you’ve never been to the Christmas Friendship Dinner, you are in for a treat – a delicious traditional Christmas dinner with turkey and stuffing, ham, vegetables, salad, bread, and many wonderful desserts. All this without the shopping, preparation, and the hours spent cooking and cleaning up.

The Christmas Friendship Dinner is open to everyone in the community and a great place for families and friends to get together for a meal and fellowship. Invite your neighbors who may otherwise be alone on Christmas Day. Offer to transport acquaintances who may not be able to get there on their own.

If you or someone in your family is homebound and unable to travel to the dinner, fill out a Request for Home Delivery. A volunteer will deliver a delicious meal to the whole family between 10 am and 1 pm on Christmas Day.
